Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He laid down the mission of the church with special words found three times in the New Testament. He commanded the disciples to: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matt. 28:19), to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15), and to be His witnesses “both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
This shows why practical evangelism and outreach is so important in our walk as Christians. We miss out on our greatest duty and calling in life when we neglect to follow God's Great Commission. We are not ultimaltely called to be secret agents, but public ambassadors for Jesus Christ. There is no greater joy and fulfillment than when we rescue unbelievers from the pit of eternal hell and restore them to everlasting life with God. There is no greater love that can be given to another human being.
As a friend once said, "If you don't want to evangelize an unbeliever, whether a relative or a complete stranger, you are basically saying that you don't love that person enough to want to tell them the truth. Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself. If you were on your way to hell, when would you want someone to warn you?"
Those words sum it all. It should be the heartbeat of our mission on earth while we still have precious time. With that said, I have posted YouTube videos below that will show you how to share your faith simply, effectively, and biblically. It is theologically driven and will help you to explain what the gospel message is to anybody and why it is so necessary amidst a world of competing religions and philosophies. These teachings can be applied to pulpit preaching, open-air preaching, personal one-on-one conversations, written statements, etc.
