RUNNED OUT OF TOWN

CURRENTLY READING:

THE COMING ECONOMIC ARMAGEDDON

Category: Eschatology

I received word a few days ago about one of my Hollywood friends, Jonathan Khan, being fired from a show and from his calling agency because of his on-set proselytizing. It's sad, but true. Hollywood does indeed look down on Christianity. Everybody can pretty much share what they believe about life, but people like Jonathan are not entitled to share what they believe about forgiveness in Christ.

News like this depresses me. With him and me just about gone from Hollywood, who else is going to step up to the plate to preach the gospel so boldly to the lost on set, whether to the common aspirer or celebrity? Join with me in prayer if this issue concerns you. Let us pray that God will raise up more laborers to send into Hollywood as missionaries so we may see the landscape changed around for His glory, at least in a small way before the Messiah's return to this world.
